Frequently asked questions
Laser Hair Removal is the application of laser light on the skin to eliminate or reduce the growing undesirable hair. Laser hair removal is a permanent hair reduction procedure and is the most popular hair removal method that replaces traditional hair removal techniques such as shaving, waxing, tweezers, or threading.
The procedure is not painful, but you may feel some discomfort with a laser device. At Universal Laser Center we have two different laser machines, one of them painless and with the other some people feel certain discomfort. The dynamic laser technology we use for laser hair removal is painless and can be treated even if you were in the sun or on a tanning bed.
The results can be seen after the fifth session, but in some areas, such as the armpits, the change can be seen after the fourth session. Most treatment has visible results around six to eight sessions and should be retouched at least every six months.
It is according to the area of the body that is selected to treat. The small area and the middle area should receive treatment between 4 and 6 weeks, but at the beginning every 4 weeks is the ideal treatment. The large area should be treated for 6 to 8 weeks, but it is best every six weeks.
