Carbon Peel Laser Facial

$199.00

The Carbon Peel laser facial is the ideal treatment for those who want glowing skin and to control facial oils and excess sebum production.

The Carbon Peel laser facial includes a carbon mask that is first applied to bond with all the gunk, dead skin cells, sebum, and impurities on the skin. The application of the mask is also a form of exfoliating the skin, which is where the “peel” part of the name comes in. Once the mask dries and finishes bonding with the contaminants, the specialist will then begin the laser treatment.

The laser treatment includes a pulsed laser such as ND:YAG 1064 that will quickly break apart the carbon mask. The heat from the laser will cause the carbon mask to absorb impurities from the skin as well as destroy them. The carbon mask will also be dismantled and slowly start to evaporate from the skin. This will at first leave behind a little bit of redness on the skin, but also expose a glowing complexion with a slight matte finish.

The carbon peel laser has a quick downtime. The redness will last a few hours at most. The most important thing to make sure of is to wear sunblock. Lack of use of sunblock can make the skin hyper-pigment and create a new problem for the patient. This is a great recommendation for any facial procedure since we are temporarily exposing a new layer of skin and ridding the most external layer of the epidermis for the finished look. It is also recommended that clients receive a follow-up consultation to determine if the results were as expected.

Lastly, the carbon peel laser should be performed by a qualified laser specialist or nurse practitioner. Always make sure that you speak with your specialist thoroughly about any skin care products in your routine. Medications should also be brought up prior to laser treatment.
